The Mystery Community Will Miss Barbara

Bubbly, bright, always friendly -- that's how I think of Barbara. She was an author I could count on to moderate a panel or fill in a panel at the last minute. I called her "my perpetually perky author" once at a signing and so she signed my book, "I think you're Perky!" Anyone would be lucky to have just half the enthusiasm and charisma that Barbara had. Barbara had so much more to say and write and do. What a loss to Malice Domestic, the mystery community, Sisters in Crime, friends and family. My sympathies
go out to all.
