Mother's Day
Wow...I
went to pick out mother's day cards today like I usually do every year.
It's times like these that it hits me and I realize Barbara isn't here.
I was one card short today and what a hole it leaves. Both Tyler and Shelby
have mentioned that Busia isn't here this year for Mother's day and I
know it tears W.D. up inside as I see him struggle just wanting to talk
to his mom. It is truly a gift when someone can love you know matter what
and that is what Barbara did for us all.
This picture was taken in November 2004 when Barbara, W.D's aunt Doris,
Tyler, Shelby and myself went to our favorite restaurant on the Kemah
boardwalk. We all had a wonderful evening and what a memory to cherish.
